  1. 0:00We have three new features available on desktop web and I'd love to show you them.
  2. 0:05The first is an update to the explore page design.
  3. 0:09So if you go to rooms.xyz and you tap explore, you'll see all the rooms.
  4. 0:15You can browse through them, you can look by category, you'll notice you can see the starred rooms.
  5. 0:23Those indicate which rooms were featured.
  6. 0:26you can search for a room or a user, and you can toggle dark mode and light mode.
  7. 0:34The second new feature is an update to profiles.
  8. 0:37So in addition to the new design, you can also now sort by most viewed, most liked, creation date, and modification date.
  9. 0:46If it's your own profile, there's also a toggle that lets you view only public rooms,
  10. 0:51so you can hide any unlisted rooms that you're still working on.
  11. 0:56And finally, the room editor has some new controls that make it much easier to edit larger rooms.
  12. 1:04So, say I have this Where's Waldo room and I want to pan around.
  13. 1:10I can do so just by right-clicking and dragging.
  14. 1:14And now I can easily go anywhere I want.
  15. 1:17I can left-click and rotate to rotate around anything.
  16. 1:25and I can use the scroll wheel to zoom in. So I'll zoom into virtual me and you'll notice
  17. 1:32there's actually this crosshairs that appears at the center of the screen and whatever's in the
  18. 1:37crosshairs determines the pivot point for rotation. So if I point it at my hair and then I left click
  19. 1:46and drag to rotate, then I'll rotate around my virtual character.
  20. 1:52Finally, you can also use WASDE, the keys on your keyboard, to zoom in and out or move
  21. 1:59forward and backward and move left and right.
  22. 2:02So hopefully these combined make it a lot easier for you to edit your rooms.
