  1. 0:05My name is Cal Day. I am the SVP of Product and Engineering for one of our product development
  2. 0:12divisions at Nokia. We are trying to leverage Cursor as an agentic platform to introduce
  3. 0:22specialized agents that are persona specific for every aspect of work that we do that can partner
  4. 0:29with the human in seat that does that work today.
  5. 0:32Those things become much more possible
  6. 0:33if we are able to iterate in much, much faster loops.
  7. 0:37That directly impacts customer economics,
  8. 0:40lowers unit cost, improves customer satisfaction,
  9. 0:44and then finally, there's an entire class of things
  10. 0:47that I think we're now going to be able to do faster
  11. 0:49that are to do with increasing resilience,
  12. 0:52reliability, and security in the network.
  13. 0:54Cursor and Cursus agents,
  14. 0:56that increasingly many of them are out of the box is a massive step up in
  15. 1:03accelerating analysis, getting insights that otherwise would not be possible. So
  16. 1:07we're at the beginning of a very critical journey. We've burnt the boats. Our
  17. 1:12plans, our goals for this year, not next year, for this year, hinge on this
  18. 1:18working. We have a product line, easily 50 plus million lines of code. We are, I
  19. 1:23I would say in an intermediate stage of decomposing what is fundamentally a monolith oriented
  20. 1:29architecture, it would be a very daunting task for us to attempt a manual inspection
  21. 1:36of that code base.
  22. 1:37We have undertaken that with Cursor.
  23. 1:39Our early results of that analysis have been remarkable.
  24. 1:42We have been able to do precisely what I just described, which would have required bespoke
  25. 1:47tooling.
  26. 1:48It would have taken far longer, probably several months of effort across probably a dozen or
  27. 1:53more expert people, we performed the initial analysis as one example within a
  28. 1:58matter of I think a couple of weeks by two people. We've seen evidence of
  29. 2:03cursor being deployed very successfully in situations that involve a need to
  30. 2:09move very quickly where we have run into a customer impacting defect that might
  31. 2:14be having a subscriber impact and now we're able to do that against an
  32. 2:18extremely large corpus of service requests and radically accelerate
  33. 2:23something like a root cause analysis. These examples have not been one or two
  34. 2:29they've been quite a few and growing in number. That's where we're seeing I'd say
  35. 2:33the early success and where we would love to take it next is leveraging
  36. 2:37cursor as a platform for multi-agent deployment and orchestration where
  37. 2:43really the role of the engineer the architect becomes the supervision of
  38. 2:48agents that are calling out to tools that are performing work at scale
  39. 2:52collaborating with one another. We are literally redesigning our entire
  40. 2:59software development lifecycle from inception through product delivery and
  41. 3:03everything that comes in between.
