- 0:41Driving, charging, chatting, I kept busy. But I slowly settled into a routine.
- 0:48Interest vanished, so did my adrenaline. Damn, road trips are actually boring.
- 0:55Sadly, my mind started wandering.
- 0:57I didn't talk as much, I preferred reading, waiting in a local church, having fun just
- 1:03thinking.
- 1:04This was the longest week of my life, but it wouldn't be all for nothing.
- 1:12Is traveling an escape from an enduring ache?
- 1:16Or is it a retreat from a fear, a defeat, hoping for answers that never appear?
- 1:22I wished my tweezy travel time to jump straight to the finish line, or undo my decision, crawl
- 1:29back to the past, this trip was supposed to be fast.

- 1:39A boy bought a car and got bored with it, traveling time with his head, his own exit.
- 1:45I started taking videos to not forget, avoid blackouts.

- 1:57a narrative, bending space and time to make the story more seductive. The modern man has a phone
- 2:05tied to his hand. He takes screenshots of his life, so bland. And what he does not record, he does not
- 2:13remember, a pity for his 300 followers. I recorded everything, couldn't miss the timing,
- 2:20building an archive of just me as I drive.
- 2:25Making up this video in my head was my first way to kill time. The second way was that
- 2:34I read as my car charged in the meantime. Grand theories by Stephen Hawking made me realize
- 2:41time traveling was a real thing. One day maybe we won't need books or stories to time travel,
- 2:47we'll have the right technologies. Why bother travel when we can experience so much within?
- 2:53But staying in our bubbles, we stay virgins. I needed to get back to earth. Going out of my car
- 3:01again was a rebirth. I started taking portraits of my hosts, asking them questions to reveal their
- 3:07innomost. I made myself more vulnerable which felt uncomfortable but my best
- 3:15conversations came from these moments conversations that I keep going back to
- 3:19unsuspected presence. In French vagabondé means wondering. It is allowing the
- 3:29answers that we're seeking to reveal themselves slowly to us. With time answers
- 3:35become obvious. And it is only now, two months since I arrived in Paris, that the
- 3:41questions I was after are clear to me now. The present moment is overrated. But I
- 3:49don't need a time machine to escape. A good story, a good book, a good conversation
- 3:53will do. So I sold the Twizy and bought myself new books. That's it. That's the end.
