- 0:01Hi, this is Katie from Stonely. Today we'll talk about contact forms. We'll show you how to
- 0:07customize a contact form to perfectly fit your needs and integrate with your help desk to speed
- 0:13up issue resolution when people contact you. Let's get to it. First, we'll give an example of how an
- 0:25e-commerce business might use contact forms to give customers an easy way to
- 0:30return a product if they're not satisfied. So from the homepage we've made it easy
- 0:35for customers to find the answers to their questions by clicking this
- 0:39question mark icon in the bottom right. For customers looking to make a return
- 0:45they simply follow the prompts and here we'll find our custom contact form that
- 0:52we've embedded. So when I click through you'll notice that my order number is
- 0:57prefilled in the subject line. This was filled automatically based on the
- 1:02customer data that we store in Stonely. We also have a larger field here asking
- 1:08for an address and then a drop-down as well as some basic contact information.
- 1:28Submitting the form will create a ticket in our help desk, but before we look at that,
- 1:33let's see another example.
- 1:41For this example, let's say you're a software company who wants to give people an easy way
- 1:45to report issues in your app.
- 1:48So I've prefilled some information here, but you'll notice that we still have the short text field, the long text field, as well as the drop down like we did before.
- 1:57But we've also expanded this form to include an attachment field.
- 2:01That way users can include a screenshot or any other relevant information.
- 2:06And then we've also added this checkbox field so that they can be contacted about issue resolution.
- 2:13And once we submit, we'll see a confirmation message letting us know that our submission was received.
- 2:21Now let's see how this looks in Stonely.
- 2:26In the guide editor, we can see how easy it is to edit our contact form.
- 2:32So as we scroll down, we'll see we can edit the placeholder text here.
- 2:37We can also edit the field type if we want to change it.
- 2:46Or maybe we want to reorder the fields.
- 2:49Simply drag it and drop it into the new place.
- 2:53Or maybe you want to add an additional field which you can do right here.
- 3:00So if we scroll down, we can also select what step, guide, link, or confirmation message
- 3:06should display after the form has been submitted.
- 3:14Okay, now it's time to see how our tickets look in our help desk.
- 3:20For today, I'll show you how this looks in Zendesk, but you can also integrate tickets
- 3:25into Salesforce Service Cloud or a different help desk.
- 3:31Here is the ticket we created a minute ago.
- 3:34All the information we submitted is available right here, as well as the session history,
- 3:42so this helps the support agent know exactly what steps this user took before contacting support.
- 3:51Additionally, the ticket tags, the form, and the about field have all been automatically filled
- 4:00for us. So these are all things you can configure in the contact form to qualify
- 4:05tickets as soon as they're submitted. So as you can see, Stonely contact forms are
