- 0:01Today, I'm going to walk you through how to get started using DLAM on your Rabbit R1.
- 0:05DLAM is our general computer agent that lets you control your computer just by talking to it.
- 0:09It can perform actions on your desktop, system settings, in the browser, or across any app.
- 0:14That's because, just like you or I, it works by understanding what's on your screen and
- 0:18interacting with it directly. And you don't need to install anything, that's the best part.
- 0:22It's just plug and play. So you can plug it into your computer to get started,
- 0:26and when you want to stop using it, just unplug it. It's very easy.
- 0:30So let's set it up.
- 0:32First, you want to either open your Chrome or Edge browser.
- 0:35So I have Chrome here, as you can see.
- 0:36And then go to the website, dlam.rabbit.tech.
- 0:40And right away, you see that the welcome message pops up,
- 0:43and it kind of gives you an overview as to what DLAM can do.
- 0:47So here at the bottom, you have three icons.
- 0:48You have your keyboard icon, so you can type in your prompts
- 0:51when that's on.
- 0:52You've got a microphone, so it will let you mute or unmute
- 0:56the microphone so you can talk to DLAM.
- 0:58And then it's got a window sharing option. So I'm gonna go ahead and click that window sharing option
- 1:03Hello, how can I help you today?
- 1:05See I have the option as to what to share
- 1:07so
- 1:07Make sure that you share your entire screen because you went dealing to be able to see everything that you wanted to that you would want to see and
- 1:13operate on your own
- 1:17And then at this point you want to plug in your R1
- 1:21Using a USB cable make sure first that the device is on and that it's updated to the latest software
- 1:28And then you see it pops up here, so I click R1 here to connect it.
- 1:32Everything's set. Both screen sharing and remote control are ready.
- 1:36What would you like to do now?
- 1:37And that's literally it. Like, again, I didn't have to install anything.
- 1:41I didn't really have to set anything up. I just plugged it in,
- 1:43accepted those permissions, and we're good to go.
- 1:46So at this point, since I've got the keyboard thing up there,
- 1:49I can type in whatever I want.
- 1:51But what I want to do is show you how to use your voice,
- 1:54because that's the beauty of R1.
- 2:00So, open up the Pages app and write me a haiku about rabbits.
- 2:08Got it.
- 2:09We're working on opening pages and writing that haiku about rabbits.
- 2:14I'm opening the Pages app and starting the haiku about rabbits now.
- 2:21So I'm going to let DLAM get to work writing that haiku.
- 2:24That's pretty much it.
