- 0:07soil conditions. You have fluctuations in feed price, you have fluctuations in
- 0:12the milk price. I see a real big possibility for the agentic AI revolution.

- 0:22The biggest challenges for a dairy farmer today are the big market forces. We
- 0:27always have to be at the top of our game in order to stay in business. We're using Gemini's latest
- 0:32flash model to create agents that figure out ways to grab the information that we needed.
- 0:39So we've got cowlers on every one of the cows that's gathering data 24-7 and we're also
- 0:45collecting feed data, weather data, milk quality data as well. We're collecting hundreds of thousands
- 0:50of data points every day. We built another agent that does all of the formula calculations off of
- 0:58that data and then the third piece is we built out a user interface that was able to to give us all
- 1:04of those key metrics that we're looking at on a daily basis. The next tab is my favorite. This is
- 1:10called the variable static margin calculator. Very complex equation that really helps drive where the
- 1:17performance of the farm is from a financial standpoint. It will tell me if the farm's on
- 1:22track or not. I got interested in using large language models and the whole agentic side of
- 1:28that quite a while ago. Built some agents and what I found was that it was really token heavy. It
- 1:35just wasn't efficient and it wasn't consistent. But with Flash, I've been able to easily build
- 1:41the agents and then run them without burning through all my tokens. I went around my farm
- 1:47and took a whole bunch of pictures.
- 1:49It was really interesting to see what the agent did.
- 1:51It updated our dashboard.
- 1:53It could tell us all these different metrics
- 1:55that I never told it.
- 1:56It just got that context from those images that I uploaded.
- 2:00Seeing the progress that the agentic models have made
- 2:04is really exciting because I took something
- 2:07that was a very taxing on my brain power
- 2:10and now it basically automated that.
- 2:12That now allows me to spend time doing other important tasks
- 2:16while still getting the information that I need to manage the farm.
